IMPORTANT NOTICE: These candles are considered "drip resistant" under ideal conditions, but as with any candle, they may drip if NOT placed in the ideal conditions.

What normally causes a candle to drip:

Draft (even the slightest draft with cause a candles to drip)
Burning candles close together (if too close, the flame from one candle will melt away another candles side and cause it to drip)
Candles leaning in an angle

These candles seem to be good quality, although I haven't burned them as yet. Shipping was quick and packaging just great. The stated diameter is 1 1/2", but if you're planning on securing them in a tealight holder as the web site advertised, you'll need something extra to keep them stable.

Perfect for my Advent set

I inherited a beautiful Scandinavian Advent set of candleholders, but have had a terrible time finding a candle for the center. I kept trying to find narrow pillar candles, when this candle was really what I was looking for. It fits beautifully in the large center candle holder. Finally! I have a nice complete set.
