5" White Household Candles (Box of 60)

These candles are 3/4" in diameter. The main barrel is 4 3/8" long with a tapered tip 5/8" for a total length of 5". They weigh 29.5 grams (1 oz) each and I measured the burn rate at just under 2 inches per hour. They are not quite perfectly dripless, but come very close. They burn cleanly. The sixty candles together weight 3.75 lbs and where I live that much paraffin would cost about $15, so the price is excellent as well. They were shipped promptly and arrived undamaged.

Ordered 240 candles for our military fallen heroes candlelight vigil and they arrive promptly notified every step of the way and they burned very well, lasting the entire vigil with still a lot of candle left. Candle wax hand protectors were easy to put on and were protective.

These are excellent candles for candle light vigils, candle light dinners and for emergency utility candles they are superb. If you need a fairly long burning candle for any purpose, this is it.

Have not used candles, but am sure the quality is good. I ordered by measurement of the holder to be used and found the candle smaller than indicated in description. The difference is small, but I may have to wrap a bit of tape around for a better fit. The photo seems, to me, shorter and larger than the actual candle which is what I wanted.

We ordered the candles and holders for a vigil in honor of our 12 year old son who passes away. They were perfect for the short time we had planned for the candle lighting. We played 3 songs and the candles did well for that time. The smaller kids did have some trouble keeping the wax from not dripping on them because they didn't hold them up straight. Otherwise they worked well for the service.

These candles were a perfect value for my German Christmas carousal. The are long lasting and no-drip. The previous candles that came with the carousal had wax drippings. On top of all of this, they were much cheaper than buying authentic candles.

There great, work in some older brass lamps that have insert tube with springs and tops, will burn longer, six to seven hours. Have purchased others made in India that were totally unacceptable, I melted them down and made fire-starters for the fireplace

Have not tried as was using them for students coming to school.

I keep a box of these for emergencies in my house. We've had to use them before when the power went out in a bad winter storm. The kids were scared because it was so dark in the house. We set several of these up throughout the house and the kids calmed right down. Much better than worrying about wasting batteries, and the price can't be beat. Have also used these for nativities we did with family and friends. So versatile. Thanks for providing this product at such a great price!

Utility candles just like I remember from the 70s. A must have in rural areas where power failure is possible.

i have purchased the short household candles for some time and love them i recommend them i use them for the Sabbath they fit m Menorah well

For large gatherings that I've coordinated I've found that the low profile of the 5" candles are perfect. They burn slowly so that they last for the whole event. They only come in white, but white goes with whatever color the table covers we are using. Some candles drip if there is a constant draft in one area of the room.

The candles are terrific -- they burn cleanly, don't drip and burn down almost completely. The woven wick is great. I'm very happy with them.
